Mommy you okay?

Bracken is such a busy boy. He has always had a one trek mind to doing what he wants and how he would like it done. Usually if you disagree he has the buck up and deal with it attitude and walks off. However, there are the few moments where he absolutely melts my heart and makes me that much more grateful to have him and another boy coming.

Yesterday was one of those hormonal pregnancy days and at one point I just finally let it out and started sobbing. Bracken who was playing with his trucks took one look at me and got really concerned. He ran over to me and put his little hand on my cheek and asked, "Mommy you okay?" Then he proceeded to wipe my tears with his fingers and wiped it on HIS clothes (he always wipes crap on my clothes). Oh my little Bracken......he makes me smile!

I am a Graduate!

After SEVEN years I am finally done! I am so amazed how great it feels not to have homework!!!! YAY! .....SPEECH!!!!......I would like to thank my.....hehe just kidding. However, I have to say I would have never gotten done if it wasn't for my Mom, Dad, Grandpa Ned, Davin, Josh, Monica, Dena and Allysa with all their help and support! Love you guys!

P.S. Thanks Cassi for helping me with my announcement!

Family Pictures

My very talented niece took our family pictures for us this year. I think she did an amazing job! Thank you Allysa for all you do!

Also, Just wanted everyone to know we are having a BOY! I am due June 9

ow,owie...peez!

Last night I was preparing Bracken for his bath when he became very concerned about his little man area. He started to say oww, owie mommy....I knew he had a little diaper rash on it but I also knew where his sympathies were headed. So I told Bracken to go find daddy to show him. Bracken then went down the stairs to show his Daddy the pain his little peep was in. I heard him say ow..owie during each step. The next part I will explian in dialoge because it was just so priceless.....
Bracken-Ow, owie daddy
Davin-Oh sorry bud I can see your peep hurts
Bracken- OW! OWIE! OW! (this was done in a little more passionate tone)
Davin- I love you...
Bracken- OW! OWIE (now holding his peep as far out as possible) OW! OWIE! Peez!
Davin- (frustrated) I'm Sorry Bud I am not going to Kiss your Peepee better!

I was upstairs on the floor laughing!

Bracken was a little broken hearted Davin would not kiss his peepee better but he soon forgot when he saw all the trucks in the bathtub he could play with.

Ice cream at the fair

Just wanted to show this ice cream cone we got at the fair for only two dollars and requested they make it little for a two year old! Can we say ginormous! .....I wonder what it would have looked normally!

Bracken and Heather

My friend Cami and I have spent many days and weeks together as our husbands study hard in their Physical Therapy program. It has been a blast to hang with her every day and watch Bracken and Heather become buds. They definitely have developed a love-hate relationship (hitting, not sharing, tattling, etc). However, it has been so heart melting as you see them grab each others hands to hold and the little kisses they give each other.

They made a HUGE mess in my car after getting kiddie cones from Arctic Circle.

The water fountain they wanted to play with for hours! The play ground had massive toys and fun slides but this is what they wanted to play with.

This is my favorite picture.

Camping in Lava

Yes, I went camping. For those who do not know me well, I am not a camper. However, I have to admit I had fun this year. My family up there really showed me that camping (even though it was only for 9 hours) can be somewhat enjoyable.

Bracken checking it out
Bracken wanting to ride it again....this child did not get the non camping gene from me. He could go all day in the dirt, bugs, nature, etc.
